Luxury Holidays in The Garden Route

Holidays along a magnificent, mountainous coastline

The Garden Route earns its name from the lush green vegetation surrounding this coastal road – ocean-facing mountain slopes cloaked in luxurious forests.

Although a popular travel destination, many areas of the coast remain untouched, offering superbly deserted trails for hiking and swathes of secluded beaches and bays affording myriad marine adventures. As you drive between Cape Town and the Garden Route, the journey brings you through The Whale Coast and the nature reserves around Walker Bay.

The Garden Route reveals charming seaside towns, one of which, Hermanus, is said to be the world’s best land-based whale watching site. The focal point of the town is a picturesque, historic harbour, providing a rewarding stop on your coastal odyssey.
