More natural beauty awaits as you travel on the Rovos Rail luxury train for a scenic two night journey through the heart of South Africa to Pretoria. From the beautiful green Winelands to the barrenness of the Great Karoo, you travel inland to Worcester to the quaint village of Matjiesfontein and visit Kimberley, renowned for its diamond mining heritage.
Once in Pretoria head to South Africa’s largest city Johannesburg for a day’s exploration before flying to Lion Sand’s Ivory Lodge, located in one of the finest wilderness areas in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Head into the bush on sunrise and sunset game drives to spot the ‘Big Five’, then relax back at your riverside lodge for luxury campfire dining or pamper yourself in the health spa.
