This scenic self-drive tour encompasses Australia’s sun-kissed east coast from Sydney to Brisbane with 11 days exploring New Zealand. Taking in both the North and South Islands, stay in boutique lodges and luxurious, characterful hotels throughout your tour.

Days 1 – 3: Fly to Sydney and drive to the Hunter Valley, staying two nights at Tower Lodge.

Day 4 & 5: Drive the Pacific Highway. Overnight at Port Macquarie and then at Coffs Harbour.

Days 6 – 9: Drive to Byron Bay, staying four nights at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa.

Days 10 & 11: Drive to Scenic Rim, staying two nights at Spicers Peak Lodge.

Day 12: Drive to Brisbane for onward flight to Auckland, overnight at The Westin.

Days 13 – 15: Drive to Rotorua, staying three nights at Kawaha Point Lodge.

Days 16 & 17: Fly to Christchurch, drive to Arthur’s Pass, staying two nights at Grasmere Lodge.
