Chengdu is the capital of the Sichuan province and although famed for its rich cultural history it is also a firm favourite with wildlife enthusiasts.
Day 1 Fly from Beijing to Chengdu and transfer to the Sofitel Wanda Hotel for two nights. Enjoy an afternoon visit to the Giant Panda Breeding Centre.
Day 2 Visit the Sanxingdui Museum, and then the home of China’s most famous poet – Du Fu.
Day 3 Visit the Wuhou Temple and local markets then fly to Beijing or rejoin your tour.
