Once described as ‘the most beautiful city on Earth’ by Marco Polo, Hangzhou remains one of China’s most picturesque cities; your tour takes in a multitude of scenic attractions.

Day 1: Arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport for transfer and overnight at Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai. (Dinner at own arrangement)
Day 2: Your train journey from Shanghai to Hangzhou. Transfer to Hangzhou Shangri-La hotel. (Dinner at own arrangement)
Day 3: Full day of excursions starting with a visit to the West Lake, tranquil pavilions and pagodas framing its shores. On the southwest foot of the Beigio Peak, see the stunning, 4th century Lingyin Temple. Lunch at a local restaurant followed by an afternoon visit to the Six Harmonies Pagoda and tea plantation. Transfer back to Hangzhou Shangri-La. (Dinner at own arrangement)
Day 4: Full day excursion to the ancient water town of Wuzhen with lunch included. Afternoon spent at the former residence of Huxueyan and Hefang Street. Transfer back to Hangzhou Shangri-La. (Dinner at own arrangement)|
Day 5: Morning train back to Shanghai with transfer to hotel or airport.
