Serene cultural city destination in Northern Thailand

The gateway to Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is the country’s fifth-largest city – a serene cosmopolis surrounded by stunning scenery, lush countryside and dramatic Himalayan Mountains. Relatively isolated until the 1920s, Chiang Mai retains an individual charm within its old city walls.

Peppered with ornate temples featuring beautiful woodcarvings, the city boasts many cultural gems. North of Chiang Mai are the Elephant Nature Park and Maesa Elephant Camp.
