Luxury Holidays in Ranthambore

Outstanding natural beauty and wildlife

Formerly more famous for its majestic fortress, Ranthambore is world renowned for the magnificent National Park that surrounds it. Yet the fort still fascinates – inside it sit three Hindu temples, dedicated to Ganesh, Shiva and Ramlalaji, constructed in 12th and 13th centuries.

Ranthambore National Park is in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan and covers an area of Approximately 400km². Here, tigers roam free through its forest and jungle while crocodiles stalk the marshes, deer sip at the lakes’ edge, and cobras battle mongoose.

The park is open from October until June, when wildlife lovers, birdwatchers, tiger trailers and visitors on safari are treated to this raw and beautiful manifestation of natural North India.
