Rich in history, Shimla was was originally a small hill village named after the goddess Shamla Devi. Shimla was the official summer capital of the Government of India until 1947, when India gained independence and today it is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh.

Day 1: Travel by train from Delhi to Kalka, followed by a private car transfer to Shimla and check in at the fairytale luxury resort of Wildflower Hall. Situated at an altitude of 8350 feet, Wildflower Hall spills over the steep slopes in the lower Himalayas.
