Day 1: Fly UK to Colombo. Overnight at the Hilton Colombo. 

Day 2: Journey by car to legendary Sigiriya via Pinnawela and stay at the luxurious Elephant Corridor boutique hotel for two nights. At Pinnawella, visit the famous elephant orphanage.

Day 3: Explore the spectacular Sigiriya 5th century rock fortress, Lion Rock. Discover more archaeological treasures at Polonnaruwa and Dambulla as you visit the awe-inspiring Cave Temples.

Day 4: Drive to Kandy. Set in beautiful hill country, this fascinating city contains the extraordinary Buddhist Temple of the Tooth Relic. Visit the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens before staying overnight at Earl’s Regency.

Day 5: Visit Nuwara Eliya’s mist-shrouded tea plantations and sample some of the renowned Ceylon teas in one of the many factories. Overnight at The Tea Factory.

Day 6: Car drive to the golden sands of Negombo via Kithulgala, location for the film ‘Bridge on the River Kwai’. Stay the night at The Beach, Negombo.

Day 7: Transfer to airport. Fly Colombo to UK.
